Dawn Estefan BSC, DipHe, MSc, MBACP
Hello my name is Dawn and thank you for visiting my site. I am a fully qualified and BACP Registered Therapist with several years experience working within the Charitable and Voluntary Sector as well as in Private Practice.
I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues (listed below) however my specialist areas of interest are working with Complex Trauma (Complex PTSD), Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence and Intercultural Therapy. I work with individuals, couples and groups providing long and short term interventions. I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Counsellor although the way I work is largely Integrative drawing upon the Psychodynamic, Cognitive and Humanistic fields of practice. I realise that all people are unique and have varying issues and needs, so sometimes the Integrative model may be the best way to meet the needs of each individual.
My aim is to provide a safe and non judgemental empathic space where you can come and discuss any concerns or difficulties that you may be having, a space where together we can work towards understanding the hidden aspects of yourself and living in a more satisfying and resourceful way.
